Melanoma
There are 2 types of melanoma that can be found on the hands and feet. These are Acral lentiginous Melanoma and Subungal Melanoma (Masced 2023).
Subungal Melanoma
These Melanoma usually begin in the nail matrix (where your nail is thought to start to grow). It is a dark brown band of colour that is usually vertical under the nail but slowly expands onto the skin.
